I have a 2017 Audi Q7 Technik, and I’ve read that there may have been a software update released around 2022.
My issues began when the original battery started affecting the computer bus, causing error codes and various functions to shut down. After replacing the battery, most of the errors disappeared, so I decided to take the vehicle to my local dealer to run diagnostics, reset anything necessary, and check for software updates.
I was happy with the results—the radiator shutter error cleared, and the transmission no longer shudders during acceleration. However, I was told that there are no general updates available and that updates are only performed on a case-by-case basis depending on specific faults.
I’ve included two screenshots, and the version numbers remained the same both before and after the service.
My question is: Is it true that there are no firmware updates available for this vehicle?
