Has anyone been told that once your vehicle reaches near 72k plus mileage your q7 will possibly burn oil and will need a new engine? I have to top off my oil almost every two months with a quart.
I’ve been up to date with all services and there’s really no major concerns until now.

I just bought my Q7 a month ago (76K on the odometer) so don't have a lot of personal experience, just a lot of reading.

Mine needed topping off after 1600 miles or so. Still well within the manufacturer's tolerance but outside if mine. I knew this could be an issue coming in, but loved the car too much to pass it up.

Lots if info on the internet about the 4M 3.0T oil consumption issues (engine code CREC) that have a myriad of options before you sell your car or drop in a new engine. Engine soaks, fuel additives, and specific oils are all part of the process for the DIYer as well as things a shop can do for you (performance flush, etc.).

I'm not sure about the 2L, but the 3L is a known oil-burner.
